    Hi Angela, of course I can help. I personally just go with whatever I feel like writing at the time. In all my books I make sure there’s no cheating with the main characters as I want them to be likeable. Usually a story of how two people meet is good (either people in a similar situation or maybe they’re from two completely different worlds).

    I hope that helps, let me know how you get on. The most important thing is just to get started with writing and finish it. Put it out and let the reviews tell you when to go next. 🙂

    Hi Dana. I’ve noticed the cover plays a big role. If it doesn’t catch my eye, unless it’s got a recommendation from somewhere I trust chances are I won’t look into it.

    Hi Jessica, thanks for including Why Do I Like White Men’ in the list! That was actually the first BWWM romance book I ever published, so I’m sure you’ll like the more. I haven’t heard of Stranded before, I’ll look into it now.

    Hi Juanita, welcome to the site. Glad you thought enough of my first book to come and get involved with the site. 🙂

    I totally hear what you’re saying about unattractive covers. I’ve been guilty of getting a few of those made before, but I’ve learned it’s worth paying that bit more for a good designer that will give the reader the experience they’re after.

    Price definitely does have an influence on the books we buy, but like you mentioned authors need to eat too. I guess it’s just a case of whether or not they prove that they’re worth buying into.
